The Gathering Weekend began in 2024 as a college retreat aimed at growing the faith of college students and incoming freshmen. TGW was organized by a small group of college students attending The University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University with a goal of deepening the knowledge of the Gospel to these students. TGW also focuses on equipping them to be able to spread the word of God to those who do not know Him across their campuses.

Our Vision is to see college students transforming their campuses and the world as faithful leaders who expand God’s kingdom through their lives and influence. We believe in the powerful work that Christ is doing in the lives of the next generation of Christian leaders and the work we are doing is growing the Kingdom of Christ.
