What's The Dinner Table Doc?

The Dinner Table Doc identifies as a college-readiness program and offers educational workshops, but the way we define college-readiness is different. We see ourselves as a program of future readiness, where each girl gains the confidence to understand herself, name her dream, and pursue it–whatever that dream may be–with compassionate and supportive resources and role models.

At The Dinner Table, our events are designed to empower and nurture young women of color in three core domains: Leadership, Self-Identity, and Health & Wellness. Through carefully crafted competencies and indicators, we guide our participants on a transformative journey of self-discovery and growth, equipping them with the skills and mindset needed to succeed in college, career, and life.

But seats like these don’t build themselves.
They’re created through care, community, and the generosity of people who believe in the power of young women’s stories.

Your donation opens doors, sets tables, and makes room for the next generation of leaders.
Every girl deserves a seat. Will you help us make space?
