What is going on?

A poor SWANA student urgently needs $3,000 to repair their car after it broke down driving to a family emergency. As a result of the engine failing, transportation to and from the family emergency costed hundreds of dollars more than usual. Without this car, the Black and Brown students who depend on it are forced to either walk long distances or use the notoriously-slow public transportation.

Why should I donate?

Our wellbeing is collective. Claremont has more than enough wealth to redistribute to our community. We as privileged people have abundant access to stolen resources, resources that are not ours to begin with.
