Founded in 2020, The Cornerstone Resource Center supports families and individuals throughout Southeastern Colorado with a wide range of programs and services. We provide parenting education, assistance with applying for public benefits, basic‑needs support, and guidance in navigating local resources in Prowers, Baca, Kiowa, and Bent counties.

One of our largest initiatives is our diaper bank. Last year alone, we distributed nearly $18,000 worth of diapers to families across our service area. To reach rural communities more easily, we travel monthly using our Cornerstone Connector (RV), allowing families to pick up diapers and access services closer to home.

We also maintain a small emergency food pantry and help families connect with local food resources. When transportation is a barrier, we can pick up and deliver food from area pantries.

Our services continue to grow based on community needs. Most recently, we partnered with Share the Spirit Foundation to provide shoes to school‑aged children in need. Help us meet our goal and mission with our 5th Annual Hats and Horses Kentucky Derby Fundraiser!
