We are desperate — please read. 🙏🐾 You will receive an IRS-accepted receipt for tax deduction.

First Watch Rescue is running out of money right now and we need help today. Every dollar donated through our trusted Givebutter page goes directly to lifesaving care for our animals  — not glossy ads, not fundraising fees — and we will stretch every cent as far as it will go. 

Where your gift goes (real, itemized needs):

Emergency & routine veterinary care — surgeries, wound repair, x-rays, antibiotics, IV fluids and critical care for animals brought to us sick or injured. (These bills are the reason we are panicking right now.) 

Vaccines & parasite prevention — rabies, distemper, flea/tick/heartworm prevention to keep our fosters and the community safe. 

Food & litter — food is our number-one ongoing expense; we’re dangerously low and kittens and moms cannot wait. (A few days without donations and we’ll run out.) 

Spay / neuter  — to prevent more litters on the streets and get animals ready for adoption. Long-term, this stops the cycle — short-term, it costs money we don’t have. 

Medications & special diets — long courses of meds, prescription diets, insulin, and flea/parasite treatments add up fast.

Transport & intake supplies — traps, carriers, bedding, cleaning supplies, and safe transport to vet clinics and fosters.

Foster support & sheltering costs — we reimburse basic vet supplies and fuel for fosters and cover emergency boarding when a foster isn’t available.

Transparent admin (minimal) — one tiny slice goes to basic processing and record-keeping so we can get animals the care they need and provide tax receipts.

We’re not asking for a little — we’re asking for survival. We have multiple vet tabs that must be cleared so animals can continue to get care, and we are running out of food and litter NOW. If you’ve ever loved an animal, please consider giving anything you can.
