Join Us for "Miles for Mamas: A Run for Black Maternal Health"

In honor of Alicia, our CEO’s birthday this month, the AHN Foundation is embarking on a personal challenge to participate in the Long Beach 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon on Sunday, March 30, 2025. This event aims to raise $3,000 to support health equity services for at least 30 Black women during Black Maternal Health Week (April 11-17, 2025).

We have partnered with LA Care and Blue Shield Community Resource Centers in Inglewood and Long Beach to deliver a robust program during Black Maternal Health Week. BUT, we need your help to make sure the AHN Foundation can deliver meaningful health education and resources to Black mamas.

Why This Cause?

Black women in the United States face significantly higher maternal mortality rates compared to their counterparts. By supporting this fundraiser, you're contributing to essential services such as prenatal education, postpartum support, and advocacy programs that strive to bridge this gap and ensure safe motherhood for all.

Date & Time: Sunday, March 30, 2025, starting at 8:00 am
Location: Shoreline Aquatic Park, 200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802
Race Options: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon
Registration Fees: $40.00 – $75.00

After the race, all that participate and/or donate are invited to join us for bubbles and bites! Location will be shared closer to the date of the event.
