Sixty Four Years! – ☮️🍰☮️🎂☮️🧁☮️

September 21 is International Day of Peace and we are commemorating 64 years since the founding of the San Jose Peace and Justice Center in 1957.

At a time of great struggle with the sustained pandemic, climate crisis, continuing wars of empire and so many needs going unmet in our communities, it is important to reflect and connect with one another.

Join us for a virtual commemoration on Thursday, September 21 at 5:30 pm. We’ll share our ongoing video project with photos of peace activists and events over the years. The video will be shared at about 5:45 pm with the rest of the time to catch up and chat with others. We hope to see you in the Zoom bubble.
