Story
When you give to Ride 4 Youth, you will be helping over 2,500 young people choose from a full menu of mental health services offered by United Action for Youth (UAY). Everything from traditional therapy to safe and stable housing, social and emotional support groups, to arts and music programs that promote self-discovery and self-expression. All of these services are essential to promoting well-being local youth.
Ride 4 Youth is a charity bike ride that is coordinated by a group of volunteer med students who are part of the Lois Boulware Learning Community at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and supported by our presenting sponsors, United Iowa Financial and The Java House. For the 10th year in a row, 100% of all contributions to Ride 4 Youth will support youth and families through direct programs and services.
Join us in helping young people navigate the uneven terrain of adolescence. No one should have to do it alone.
United Action for Youth (UAY) has been providing support to youth and families in Johnson County since 1970. UAY is a local, youth organization that provides mental health, advocacy, stable housing and enrichment programs for young people throughout the Corridor. UAY's mission is to nurture the potential of all youth to CREATE, GROW & SUCCEED.
