Thank you for your support of the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind. Your support plays a vital role in our efforts to raise awareness of brain tumors, and brain cancers, and to support brain tumor research in Central IL.

Last year, after the 19th annual Walk for the Mind, we were able to donate $85,000 to brain tumor research at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.

We are also pleased to announce that Mark Linder Walk for the Mind has now donated over One Million Dollars to Brain Tumor Research since Mark Linder began the Walk for the Mind in 2003!

Tax Information: Registration fees are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax purposes. If you would like to make a charitable contribution for Federal Income Tax purposes, please make a separate check payable to “Mark Linder Walk for the Mind”. Donations may be mailed to the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind address, or you can donate online at our website.

WAIVER: In consideration of the acceptance of my entry for Mark Linder Walk for the Mind, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, fully and forever RELEASE, REMISE, ACQUIT AND DISCHARGE the University of Illinois Foundation, University of Illinois College of Medicine, the Peoria Park District, River Plex, the City of Peoria and the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind (including, but not limited to, any volunteers, organizers, agents, servants, sponsors) and each of their officers, directors agents and employees from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions or rights of action of whatever kind or nature I may now have or may hereafter have arising out of or in consequence of all known or unknown injuries to person or damages to property resulting to me in any way from my participation in the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind. I also grant permission to all the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or other records of this event for any legitimate purpose.
