Christmas in July supports Epworth's December Christmas Shop.

For the past two years Epworth has received 2-3 families from each of our partners. The adults of these families are invited to worship and then to shop for their children. Gifts are available for multiple ages, according to the projected families in attendance. Adults browse the shop and choose the gifts they think most suited to their family. Once the adults select their gifts, Epworth disciples wrap the gifts. Fun events for children are organized by Epworth Family disciple so that they too enjoy the fun while their adults shop for them. We aim to support at least 20 families. With toys averaging 20 dollars each and each child getting 4 toys, we aim to raise at least $1600 for this.

The toys in our shop come from donations. Christmas in July helps us to stock up on needed toys before prices rise in December and before donors themselves have significant financial pressure from their own family gifts.

Sunday July 7 is full of Christmas in July and kicks off the month of toy and monetary donations.

Gift boxes are placed outside the sanctuary for Epworth to donate unwrapped toys.
