Leap year means we have one extra day to think about our kids. To think about our school. To think about the amazing work that our teachers, staff and administrators do. Let's take that extra day this year to make a difference with the McCallum PTSA.

This organization comes together to support the whole school. So far this year, we have:

Gifted each teacher with $100 to get their classroom ready, so they don't have to spend their own money.
Hosted a quarterly staff appreciation luncheon for over 100 teachers, staff and administrators. The luncheons porivde the staff a time to come together as a community and receive a tangible expression of our support.
Provided volunteers in the school and at the homecoming dance to lend an extra helping hand.
Sent teachers to training that was the basis for the Link Crew and the freshman orientation activities.
Created a forum for parents and caregivers to come together and address important issues and challenges within the school.
Gave our students a safe and fun environement to enjoy their high school experience by supporting the Homecoming Dance and donating to Project Graduation.
