We're excited to welcome Annika Greaney to the Showdown. She'll be working with returning horse Terra to give her a second chance of finding a great home!

Annika lives in Fargo, ND, and the driving force behind Red Line Equestrian. Specializing in retraining Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs), Annika's expertise extends to working with horses across various disciplines. Drawing from her classical dressage background in Europe and blending it with insights from the western equestrian community, she has crafted her own distinctive training approach. Annika expresses deep gratitude for being chosen to participate in this year's event, considering it a significant honor.

The 2024 Dakota Showdown Teams are working hard this summer. You can help them earn the "Fan Favorite" award by donating now! The team that raises the most will be named the "Fan Favorite".

For even more fun we are holding a White Elephant Ticket Raffle. For every dollar donated you will have a ticket put into your team's jar at the Showdown. There is one large prize to be drawn from the Fan Favorite jar ... and then we'll start drawing for smaller prizes based on amount raised. The team with the least amount of donations will draw a winner first, and the winner will chose a prize. The next amount will have the opportunity to steal their prize or pick a new one. If the prize is stolen, the person who lost their prize can either steal another or pick a new prize.

All prizes other than the grand prize will be in the $20-40 range. Prizes can only be stolen twice; once it is stolen the second time the person keeps it. You do not need to be present to win. If you are not present, you can nominate someone to choose for you or a volunteer will choose a prize for you from the table. Winner to pay any shipping required to receive their prize.
