50 Miles. 5 Days. One Big Campership Goal.

Have you or your camper ever canoed any of the 3,000miles of sweet water trails you can find across Michigan? It’s not just a quiet paddle in your canoe, it’s a classic camp activity. It’s feeling the strongest you've ever been, trail mix lunches with a swim in a remote lake, stories shared around a campsite, and the kind of laughter that only happens when you've reached the end of an adventurous day.

For generations, trips like these have been a highlight of the Hayo-Went-Ha experience, a challenge, an adventure, and for many, a defining moment of summer. This fall, we’re heading to Killarney Provincial Park, Ontario Canada with a goal: to canoe 50 miles in 5 days and raise $20,000 for the Campership Fund.

Because we believe every camper deserves the chance to discover what they’re capable of while on a trip, all funds raised will go directly toward camperships for the Alaska Program. This aligns with our Pathways to Growth approach, ensuring more campers can experience this life-changing adventure and the personal growth it inspires.

We’ve pulled together a group of determined alumni and staff, people who know the power of a tripping adventure, a soggy sock, a view that takes your breath away, and a trail that teaches resilience. They’ll take on the miles, and we’re asking you to help fuel the mission.
