South Burlington High School boys basketball needs our support, and that's why we're launching a nonprofit to help! The Friends of South Burlington Boys Basketball is kicking off to raise funding to support the current and future players in our high school basketball program. Our mission is to provide opportunities for our players to grow and learn the game of basketball at SBHS, and through our youth programs.

This boys basketball kickoff event will both launch our nonprofit, and kickoff what is sure to be a great season of basketball in South Burlington. We have over 100 players participating in competitive boys basketball between SBHS and Mini Metro. While the program is in a strong place, it isn't set up in a way to sustain our momentum and continuing growing the program. We're seeking donations so we can begin supporting the program this year, and we'll be growing our support and fundraising over the coming months.

We want to build a sustainable program in South Burlington, and ensure our players have what they need to be successful and proud to be a member of the program. Today, Mini Metro can be cost prohibitive for families and district budgets for the high school teams don't cover all of the needs of the team. As a result, the boys end up missing out on much needed apparel, training gear, transportation, gym time, training and coaching technology, and more. Help us raise money to ensure boys basketball continues to be accessible to all, while we create a unified program from 3rd - 12th grade!
