ACTS Missions is a lay-led Catholic apostolate, serving all religions, whose mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ among Catholic and Christian communities through ACTS Retreats. The intent of the retreat is to offer a personal encounter with Christ with a two-fold purpose: foster intentional discipleship and building parish community.

ACTS Missions Chapters are in 23 locations across the US and 1 in Mexico. Chapters support parishes and Cores in their region. Volunteers focus on education and evangelization. Retreats are given by parishioners for parishioners serving to build Christian community at the parish communities ACTS serve. We’ve seen parishes revitalized, diaconate classes filled, and all seeking to deepen their relationship with Christ through prayer and service.

Through ACTS, the laity respond to their baptismal call, and seek to participate in the apostolic mission of the Church to “go and make disciples of all nations.” ACTS retreatants share in an experience that has impacted more than one million lives worldwide since the first retreat in 1987. We have numerous testimonies by retreatants who were evangelized through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. They witness to becoming better fathers, mothers, husbands, wives and children.

The ACTS Retreat was a vision created, and 38 years later we are keeping the retreat alive and bringing women, men, and teens closer to Christ.

In 2024 and currently 2025, we made substantial strides in our mission, such as:

• Installing 2 new Chapters this Spring in service of Baton Rouge, LA and Portland, OR.

• Preparing our next chapter in New Orleans, LA.

• Responding to weekly requests to bring ACTS to my parish.

• Continuing support for 24 Chapters that are actively serving over 600 parishes.
