Welcome aboard! We’re so glad you’ve signed up for Vashon Island Rowing Club’s Learn to Row Program—whether this is your first time in a boat or your next step after Intro to Rowing, we’re excited to help you build confidence, strength, and community on the water.

This program is designed to give you an in-depth, hands-on introduction to rowing technique, fitness, and boat handling in a supportive group setting.

🗓 Program Schedule

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Optional Saturday Row | 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Choose from one of the following 4-week sessions:

1	June 9 – July 5
2	July 7 – August 2
3	August 4 – 23

Sessions meet at either the Jensen Point Boathouse or our Indoor Training Center, depending on weather and training focus.

👕 What to Bring

Fitted, athletic clothing (avoid loose pants/shorts)
Water shoes or sandals (no flip-flops)
Sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen
Full water bottle (with your name on it)
Optional: towel or light snack
