We joyfully invite you to join us in beautiful San Diego -- Aug. 14 - 17, 2025, at USD, University of San Diego, a marvelous campus overlooking the bay! This is the first live in-person Carl Rogers Conference in five years! Your presence will help vitalize our Person-Centered Movement to address growing challenges to civilization & the biosphere. We will explore issues which are crucial for our healthy growth as persons, as societies, and as participants in restoration of a beleaguered planet. From enabling personal authenticity to advancing global biosynergy, your presence is vital to our common effort to promote person-centered wellbeing & well-becoming of all Life.

As a Community we will take an in-depth look at Person-Centered Approaches to Individual, Group and Global Wellbecoming. This seems essential in our times of social challenge and ecological chaos. Insightful inner awareness and congruent shared expression are vital to becoming a healthy person who functions in positive synergy with others (human and all beings). To optimize partnerships, families, communities, organizations, societies, cultures, ecosystems, & global forces affecting betterment of Life in Earth’s Biosphere, we need to study conflicting Realities, support Truth seeking, and apply inclusive Mutual Wisdom.

CSP's Mission is to develop greater understanding of what it is to be fully human, of our strengths and shortcomings, of our ability to change and our potential to evolve as persons and societies seeking remedies to the inhumane corruption of human civilization and the cruel destruction of Earth’s faltering biosphere. At this gathering we will enjoy a blend of panels and workshops (e.g. - PCA theory & application, Poetic empathy & Spiritual enrichment, Human-Nature discovery & transformation, etc…). All who attend are invited to facilitate special presentations, discussions & demonstrations, in addition to daily opportunities for deep personal, group & community encounters.

Every Person who attends CSP's 2025 Conference in San Diego will be welcomed into official CSP Membership. Enrollment cost covers in-person participation in the August 14 to 17 Conference and virtual involvement in other CSP programs throughout 2025 ! Total fees for 2025 CSP Full Membership (including enrollment in the In-Person Conference) is $300. The first 20 persons to Register (early enrollees) need only donate $250 Tuition. [Note: Voting & CSP Board Members pay $360 annual Tuition. Scholarships are available.]

Housing & Dining Options are available at the Univ. of San Diego close to our conference meeting rooms. Housing Options Include : A) Private bedroom with private bathroom is $90 per night ($360 for 4 nights) for single adults. B) Shared bedroom (2 dormitory beds) with shared bathroom is $75 each guest per night ($300 for 4 nights). Pavilion Dining encompasses numerous eateries similar to a food court. Various cuisine options include Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, Asian, Vegetarian, and fresh salad and soup bars. Pavilion Dining is directly across from our main Meeting Room. Classic American fare includes a full breakfast and grill menu. Cash/credit cost for individual meals - Breakfast-$14.00, Lunch-$16.50, Dinner-$19.00. Closing Reception: Appetizers & Plated Dinner on Terrace is $50.00 with Band (purchase ticket during Conference Registration on GiveButter).

Pre-Conference: PCP Person-Centered Psychotherapy Training, Antonio Santos & Will Stillwell, Aug. 10 - 13, $500; explore & advance your PCP skills & perceptions in personal presence with fellow PCP practitioners.

Post-Conference Natural Synergy Workshop: “Becoming Earthling, An EcoSpiritual Authenticity Workshop" with Anthony Rose, Barbara & Heather Williams, and Will Stillwell, Aug. 13-14th and 17-18th, $150. Seek, share, and express Biosynergy with living inhabitants in Earth’s tame and wild Life-spaces. Explore, immerse your self, & synergize with dIverse life in a university chapel & theatre, gardens of sky & sea, sports stadium, and public canyon wilderness. Expand and express your emerging authentic "Earthling" Self in poetry & prayer, song & symphony, story & screenplay, sketch & sculpture, dance, dialogue & drama.

Carl Rogers and a group of his colleagues - psychologists, social scientists, educators & theologians - founded the Center in 1968. Our intention was “to develop a greater understanding of what it is to be fully human, of our strengths and weaknesses, of our ability to grow and our potential for change.” Our goals are expanding to face the growing global need for personal compassion and social-ecological renewal. We welcome all who wish to foster well-becoming to join us.

The innovations and writings of Carl Rogers’ and his many person-centered colleagues’ and followers’ have produced discoveries & developments that have expanded over the past 56 years to revolutionize psychology, learning and education, and organization & community development. Focusing, Motivational Interviewing, Team Building, Sensitivity/Effectiveness Training, Non-Violent Communication, & Compassionate Wildlife Conservation are some of the better known. Among the many personal/social change arenas which have been influenced by PCA are mental/physical healthcare, psychotherapy & counseling, civic cohesion, peace & justice, conflict resolution, social services, organization design & transformation, religious/spiritual unity, collaborative politics/governance & global biosynergy restoration.

The integration into Psychology & Society - now & in the future - of diverse authentic and compassionate Person-Centered Approaches & related holistic interventions can provide rich ground for mutual interaction, exploration & communion. CSP's first person-to-person gathering since the 2021 pandemic is a wonderful opportunity to enhance personal friendships, professional contributions, psycho-social collaborations, and global PCA interventions. Let's consider how our professional work and personal callings encompass Carl Rogers' philosophy of "Becoming a Person" and advance The Person-Centered Movement's pursuit of a "Kind & Loving World".
