The Hillview Free Library in Diamond Point, New York is looking to expand and diversify public and private offerings at it’s new Community Pavilion. (In case you didn’t know, the Community Pavilion is an eye-catching, large-timber structure located adjacent to the library.) To help fund this effort, we have collaborated with generous friends to offer a raffle featuring a Resort Package set at the historic Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing.

The Resort Package, valued at $3,700, is for a spectacular 2-night stay and includes a round of golf for 4. The winner may choose his/her stay during either the Spring or Fall of 2026 for an escape to a luxury townhouse on majestic Lake George. The townhouse accommodation includes two bedrooms, two baths, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room with a fireplace, a dining area and balconies on two levels, all with spectacular views of Lake George. At the request of the owner, group size is restricted to one family or 4 adults. Please note: the townhouse is accessible by stairs only.

Compliments of The Sagamore, golf will be at the famous, 18 hole, Donald Ross Golf Course that also overlooks Lake George. The par 70, championship course features a practice range, professional instruction and an award-winning Pro Shop. Complimentary Shuttle service is provided between the golf course and the resort. The round of golf includes two carts, requires advance reservations and is valid for the months of May, June, September and October.

The Resort Package also affords the winner and her/his guests the opportunity to cruise Lake George on The Morgan, the Sagamore’s own 72 foot long tour boat. The Morgan cruises daily from May 10 through the end of October. Further, the Resort Package includes access to The Sagamore’s outdoor warming pool, indoor hot tub, the lakefront, the fitness center and the indoor entertainment/recreation center that features mini golf, a rock climbing wall, board games, a movie theatre, 1/2 court basketball as well as tennis, paddleball and pickleball courts (for more information, visit www.opalcollection.com/sagamore ).

Raffle tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. Occupancy dates are subject to availability, as are on-site amenities. The Raffle winner must be 21 years or older. The winning ticket will be drawn on November 13, 2025 at the conclusion of Hillview’s “Grateful for You” Community Spaghetti Dinner. All are invited to join us for this scrumptious event. Doors will open at 6:00 PM. Mark your calendars!
