The Quincy Mayors’ Good Scout Breakfast is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates the outstanding contributions of Quincy leaders who embody the principles of Scouting and have made a significant positive impact on the community. This prestigious event brings together community members, business leaders, and local government officials to honor individuals who exemplify servant leadership and dedication to the betterment of Quincy.

The Good Scout Breakfast celebrates leaders from various sectors with different awards. The Good Scout Award for the Private Sector honors an individual from private business who has exemplified outstanding leadership, active community engagement, and a strong commitment to the principles of Scouting. The Good Scout Award for the Public Sector recognizes a public servant from the city or local government who has made significant contributions to the community through their dedication, service, and alignment with Scouting values.
