We hope you join The North Foundation for a fun evening at our FOURTH annual Reindeer Races on Friday, December 12th at the beautiful Birdseye Barn at Western Star in Norton! What is a Reindeer Race, you ask? Think of the popular fundraiser "Night at the Races" but with a few fun twists!

Your $35 ticket includes a delicious dinner catered by Craveably Crafted Catering, photo with Bad Santa, Ugly Sweater contest, games and more! BYOB and this is a 21 and over event. Also, in the spirit of giving we are asking all guests to please bring a non-perishable food item to benefit St. Paul's Curch in Sharon Center. https://www.stpaulsharoncenter.org/ Their most needed items are: Chef Boyardee, boxed sides (potatoes, stuffing, etc), cereal, dry pasta.

There will be 6 races, with 6 reindeer in each race. Reindeer Owners will purchase a reindeer for $80 and get the naming rights to their reindeer. (There will only be a total of 36 reindeer sold).

HOW THE RACE WILL START:

Prior to each race, all betters will go to the betting window to place your bet (minimum $2) on your favorite reindeer.
The DJ will call the Reindeer Owners (or designated person) in Race 1 to come to the "track".
Each "lane" of the track will be color coded, with 1 reindeer lining up in each lane.
There are two dice: one with the 6 colors to match the color coded lanes and one with numbers 1 through 6.
The designated "dice roller" will roll the two die and the appropriate reindeer will move the rolled number of spaces.
Example: The pink reindeer will stand in the pink lane. If the dice lands on pink and 3, the pink reindeer will move forward 3 spaces. With the next roll, the appropriate color reindeer will move the number of spaces rolled.
The first reindeer to the end of the lane WINS! The Reindeer Owner will win double their investment and all persons that bet on the winning reindeer will win (winning amount dependent on number of bets).
NOTE: if a 6 is rolled, the reindeer must go back to the start.

We will also have 50/50 raffle, alcohol sleigh raffle, Mystery Stockings board, and the Beads game!
