Spring, A Time of Growth & Renewal

Last spring, we joyfully kicked off the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Margaret’s Village, a momentous occasion that allowed us to reflect on the profound legacy of Sr. Margaret Traxler and the remarkable achievements of more than 10,000 people who have benefited from our programs.

Thanks to your generous support, our residents have been able to regain their footing, acquire essential skills, and overcome homelessness.

However, as we stand in 2025, we are faced with increasing challenges. Rising costs and the uncertainty of government funding have put a strain on our resources, particularly following unexpected expenses related to electrical, plumbing and heating failures in our aging facilities.

Unfortunately, these expenses have consumed more than $150,000 of our operating budget. This situation leaves us with fewer resources to allocate toward vital programming and essential services.

We remain hopeful and determined to persevere through these tough times. With your support, we can ensure that Margaret’s Village continues to be a place where resilience is nurtured, families remain intact, and individuals find the strength to move forward. Together, we can sustain a future where every resident in our care is given the opportunity to thrive.

We are launching our Spring Appeal with the goal of raising $200,000.
