ABOUT CLARION WEST

Clarion West supports programs for over 1,200 writers — from all over the world — through online and in-person classes, workshops, and other events that focus on emerging and underrepresented voices in speculative fiction.

Explore the goals of the Write-a-thon participants above by tapping the icons under "Team Members." The participant information may look blank until participants have had a chance to fill out their information.

All participant pages share similar features and won't start looking different until each participant begins adding information about their writing, their Write-a-thon goals, and their writing progress.

Hint for participants: Logging back in? Use the menu in the upper right corner to log back into your participant account. You can update your profile image, password, and your participant URL from this page. When you want to update your page information and/or your progress to share with your supporters, select 2025 Write-a-thon from the "Campaigns I'm fundraising for" --> click on your icon --> and click "Share & Manage" in your information box.

From "Share & Manage" you can share the campaign on your social media, invite donors (friends & family), view your supporters, and edit your page!

You know you are viewing your participant's information (or your own) when the URL includes their name, example: https://givebutter.com/2025cw-writeathon/[firstname][lastname]

Hint for donors: Some writers use their writerly pseudonyms, if you can't find your participant, double-check with them to see how they've named their page!

Whenever you're ready, use the DONATE button at the top of the page and select the Write-a-thon-er you'd like to support from the dropdown menu.
