Stephanie Smith's Story
Vonda was a dear friend of mine and my teacher, a woman of great spirit and heart. She helped me in my early career as an SFF writer, opened her home to me, which I shared with her for some months in the fall of 1981, and we kept in touch to the day she left us. I miss her everyday, and I write with her and Ursula in mind every day.
