Hello, My name is Michael Severino and this will be my 11th year being an advisor to our local teens at the Cheshire Community YMCA. This year I will be jumping in honor of the hard working teens that celebrate our community by demonstrating their hard work in and out of our club. 

The Cheshire Leaders is a YMCA teen-driven program dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for teenagers to develop leadership skills, foster community engagement, and participate in meaningful service projects. Designed to empower young people, the club provides opportunities for members to build connections with peers, contribute to their communities, and grow as compassionate, responsible leaders.

At the heart of the Cheshire Leaders Club is the belief that every teenager deserves the chance to lead, learn, and make a difference. Through collaborative projects, community service initiatives, and leadership workshops, members gain practical experience in organizing events, advocating for social causes, and supporting those in need. The club focuses on fostering an environment of respect, kindness, and empathy, where every member can feel valued and heard.

Whether it's volunteering at local shelters, organizing fundraisers, or advocating for important social issues, the Leaders Club encourages young people to take initiative, build confidence, and become active participants in shaping the future of their communities. By providing both a safe space for personal growth and the tools to enact positive change, the Cheshire Leaders Club is helping to cultivate the next generation of leaders who are driven by purpose and a commitment to service.
