We’ve got amazing news — thanks to Greater Good Charities and The Foundation for the Horse, every horse at Gentle Spirit Horses Rescue is getting vaccinated this spring, completely covered! 🎉 This is typically a $65 per horse expense, and we’re beyond grateful for the support.

Since we don’t need to fundraise for vaccines this year, we’re shifting our focus to hay. With 1200 square bales arriving soon, we need to raise $6,000 to make sure every horse has a full belly.

Additionally, we usually attend the April auction to rescue more horses — but due to the March auction horses needing to stay in quarantine, we’re staying home to protect our herd. This means no auction fundraising, so hay is more important than ever.
