Help Us Live Sent in 2026–2027 (Budget)

The Sent Life exists to help people follow Jesus right where they are.

That takes shape in practical ways — supporting student-led Christian ministry, providing Bibles and gospel resources, investing in men, creating outreach opportunities, equipping volunteers, and responding when new doors for ministry open.

Our goal for the 2026–2027 year is to raise $20,000 for the general fund so we can continue the ministry already happening and have room to grow.

Bibles — approximately $6,000 annually

We regularly provide Bibles through student ministry, outreach events, and other ministry opportunities in the Victoria area. Our current cost is about $13 per Bible, and our goal is to make Bibles available when people need them — not just when we happen to have extras on hand.

A $13 gift helps us place one Bible into someone’s hands. A $65 gift helps provide five. A $130 gift helps provide ten.

This budget allows us to keep Bibles on hand for students, outreach conversations, ministry events, and other opportunities that develop throughout the year.

Student-Led Christian Clubs & Youth Ministry — approximately $3,500 annually

We support student-led Christian clubs and youth ministry opportunities in the Victoria area. In school settings, students take the lead — organizing meetings, inviting their peers, planning outreach, and helping shape the ministry. Adult sponsors and mentors are there to encourage, guide, and support them.

Many of these ministries are non-denominational and not connected to a particular church. That means they often do not have the kind of financial and practical support that a church normally provides for its own youth ministry.

That is where The Sent Life can step in.

We help provide many of the practical things a church might ordinarily provide for a youth group — food for gatherings, support for special events, outreach materials, gospel-sharing resources, and other ministry needs that arise throughout the year.

We also help support student-led outreach efforts such as See You at the Pole with flyers, posters, gospel tracts, and other resources that help students invite and engage their peers.

Our goal is not to take over these ministries. It is to come alongside young people who are already willing to lead, serve, and reach others — and help give them the resources to do it well.

Men’s Ministry & Combat-Sports Outreach — approximately $2,400 annually

The Sent Life wants to invest in men through real relationships, honest conversations, Scripture, and everyday community.

One of the places that has naturally developed is within the Victoria combat-sports community, where relationships are already being built through gyms, training, and shared interests. We currently invest in men’s ministry connected to that community, and we hope to expand into additional groups and outreach opportunities as doors open.

This budget helps cover practical ministry needs such as study and discussion resources, Bibles and gospel materials, food or coffee, outreach supplies, volunteer support, and the costs involved in starting and supporting new groups or ministry opportunities.

Our goal is not simply to create more meetings. We want to meet men where they already are, help them grow in faith and understanding, and equip them to invest in the people around them.

Community Outreach — approximately $2,000 annually

The Sent Life wants to be present in the places where people in the Victoria area already gather — not only in traditional ministry settings.

We currently plan for about four community outreach opportunities each year, budgeting roughly $500 per event. One of those is our annual Halloween outreach, and the remaining funds give us room to participate in other community events and partnerships as opportunities develop.

This budget can help cover practical costs such as event or booth fees, tables and displays, hospitality, supplies, giveaways, signage, and other materials needed to create a welcoming ministry presence.

The goal is simple: show up where people already are, serve well, build relationships, and create natural opportunities for conversations about life, faith, and Jesus.

Gospel Resources & Printing — approximately $1,200 annually

The Sent Life regularly provides gospel-sharing tools, printed resources, and outreach materials that help people communicate their faith clearly and invite others into meaningful conversations.

This includes things like gospel tracts, handouts, flyers, posters, event materials, and other printed resources used in student ministry, community outreach, and other ministry opportunities throughout the year.

We also use part of this budget for advertising and promotional printing when it helps people learn about an event, outreach opportunity, or ministry gathering.

The goal is practical: when someone is willing to reach out, invite others, or share the gospel, we want to help make sure they have something useful in their hands.

Ministry Operations — approximately $2,000 annually

The Sent Life keeps its operating structure intentionally simple so that as much funding as possible can go directly toward ministry.

Even simple ministry still has basic costs. This budget helps cover things like website and domain expenses, GiveButter and payment-processing costs, nonprofit administration, office supplies, communication needs, and other basic expenses required to keep the ministry functioning well.

These are not the most visible parts of ministry, but they are what allow everything else to happen consistently and responsibly.

Our goal is to keep overhead modest, stay transparent, and make sure the ministry has the basic infrastructure it needs to serve people well.

Volunteers & New Ministry Opportunities — approximately $2,900 annually

As The Sent Life grows, we want to create more opportunities for other people to serve alongside us, not simply add more ministry for a small number of people to carry.

This budget helps us recruit, equip, and support volunteers who serve through student ministry, community outreach, men’s ministry, combat-sports outreach, and other opportunities as they develop.

It can help cover practical team needs such as matching ministry shirts, name badges, volunteer materials, basic supplies, hospitality, and other resources that help volunteers serve confidently and represent The Sent Life well.

This portion of the budget also gives us room to respond to new ministry opportunities that are not fully developed yet — such as college-age ministry, new outreach partnerships, additional groups, or other doors that may open during the year.

We do not want every new opportunity to require a brand-new fundraising campaign before we can respond. We want to have enough flexibility to recognize a good opportunity, gather people around it, and step into it when the time is right.

Every gift to The Sent Life helps us continue doing ministry in practical, tangible ways — putting Bibles into people’s hands, supporting student-led Christian ministry, investing in men, creating outreach opportunities, equipping volunteers, and being ready when new doors open.

You do not have to fund an entire ministry project to make a difference. $13 helps us provide a Bible. $50 can help provide food or supplies for a ministry gathering. $100 can help equip an outreach or volunteer team. Larger gifts help us sustain these ministries throughout the year and respond when new opportunities arise.
