You're cordially invited to a special evening in support of the John Paul II Renewal Center.

Featuring Mark Houck

Mark is a Catholic husband, father of seven, and longtime pro-life advocate from Pennsylvania. He is the co-founder and president of The King's Men, a Catholic lay apostolate dedicated to helping men grow in virtue, prayer, authentic masculinity, and the defense of life.

For more than two decades, Houck has participated in peaceful sidewalk counseling outside abortion facilities, where he has sought to offer prayer, practical assistance, and alternatives to women considering abortion.

Houck became nationally known in September 2022 when FBI agents raided his house early morning and arrested him following an indictment under the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. The charges stemmed from a 2021 altercation outside a Philadelphia abortion facility involving a clinic escort. Houck maintained that he pushed the escort while protecting his young son, whom he said was being verbally harassed. Federal prosecutors alleged that his actions violated the FACE Act because they interfered with the escort's duties.

In January 2023, after a week-long trial in federal court, a jury found Houck not guilty on all counts.

Table Hosts

We welcome guests to host a table of 8 guests. It is a wonderful way to introduce your friends and family to our mission while enjoying an evening out. By attending, we hope they would become friends of ours and begin supporting our work.

We will depend on Table Hosts to fill the venue.

There is no commitment! You are simply saying that you will invite your family and friends to come learn about our mission. There is no cost for them to attend the event. Each table holds 8-9 people. Sometimes a Table Host is able to fill several tables, and sometimes none at all. Let The Holy Spirit take charge.

You will be asked upon checkout if you'd like to be a table host, at which point we'll contact you with further details.

You can email DavidAvignone@JP2Renew.org with more questions.
