As we are in the midst of ACRE’s 16th residency season at the farm in Steuben, we are reaching out to our alumni community to ask for your support.

You've been a crucial part of building ACRE from a volunteer-run project into a nationally recognized organization, anchored by a network of over 2,500 alumni, collaborators, and cultural workers. Each year, more than 700 artists apply to join this community.

At its core, ACRE is grounded in a simple belief: artists need each other. If that continues to matter to you, I hope you'll help us carry it forward.

This year ACRE has a goal of raising $10K among our alumni to keep this residency going. These funds will directly support the vibrant community, dynamic programs, and vital resources that matter to our alumni and keep network thriving. Our goal is to have at least 75 alumni support this fundraising effort. Be one of them.

In the past, your support has allowed us to sustain our residency studios, provide tools and materials to residents and staff, and offer a holistic and supportive experience while up at the farm. Please consider giving to this year's campaign.

At a time marked by uncertainty and division, spaces like ACRE—where artists can gather, experience moments of joy, exchange skills and ideas, and imagine new possibilities together—feel more vital than ever. And, in the spirit of carrying it forward, our longtime funder The Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation has offered ACRE a Cash Reserve Challenge Grant, matching donations up to $25k to establish a cash reserve. Every dollar donated helps us get there.
