Thank you for your donation to our May Auction Campaign. Your gift comes at a powerful time as we prepare to head into auction weekend—one that falls on Mother’s Day.

This sale follows a split two-day format. Saturday is the catalog sale, where horses often bring high-end prices. Then Sunday morning begins the loose sale—where horses sell for $750–$5,000, often with little to no background information.

Because of you, we are walking in ready.

• Step in for the horses who need us most

We prioritize the horses who will suffer the most if they continue on—the crippled, the injured, the terrified, the emaciated… then the mares and babies, and the sweet older horses who deserve a soft place to land.

This weekend, we’ll also be watching closely for pregnant mares and mare/foal pairs, especially as we head into a sale that falls on Mother’s Day.

On average, it takes about $1,500 to cover the purchase and initial care for a horse, and closer to $2,000 for a pregnant mare or mare with a foal. Every donation directly impacts what we’re able to say yes to when those moments come.

We’ll be heading to the auction ahead of the sale to evaluate horses in person, and we’ll share updates as the weekend unfolds.

We never know exactly who we’ll meet—but we promise to approach every decision with care, intention, and a focus on where we can make the greatest impact.
