The Conservation Alliance for Seafood Solutions (CASS) is pleased to welcome you to our 2026 annual gathering, hosted in Canada for the very first time. We are proud to once again host leading NGOs, businesses, foundations, and academia, united in their belief that the responsible seafood movement can protect our ocean and the people who depend on it.

What are the costs of attending?

The cost of registration is 875.00 USD and will be available until August 14th.

Registration fees include the Tuesday evening Welcome Reception, breakfast and lunch on the Wednesday and Thursday meeting days, and the group dinner on Wednesday. Please note that attendees are responsible for covering costs associated with lodging and transportation to/from the conference.

Bringing a friend or family member? They can come along to the welcome reception and group dinner by purchasing a Social Pass for $100.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Cancellations for a full refund are available until August 14th. After August 14th, conference registrations will no longer be refundable but can be transferred to another party. All requests must be submitted in writing to Jasmine Guevara by email at jasmine@solutionsforseafood.org.

Where should I stay for the conference?

CASS has a room block reserved at the The Westin Nova Scotian, where the conference will take place. In order to receive the special conference rate, bookings must be made by September 27th. Reserve your room here.

Where should I fly into?

The closest airport to the conference is Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ).

When should I arrive?

The first conference event, the Welcome Reception, will take place the evening of Tuesday, September 22nd. We highly recommend arriving before Tuesday afternoon in case of travel delays. Please note that "Day Zero" conversations will begin no later than noon ET on Tuesday, September 22nd. Arrange your travel accordingly if you plan to engage in these optional sessions.

When should I leave?

The conference will run through the evening of Thursday, September 24th. There may be an optional field trip on Friday, September 25th, which will be confirmed in early summer.

When will I be able to see the agenda and list of attendees?

CASS will distribute a conference guide containing all relevant information in late summer.
