About Sana Recovery Foundation & Why We're Running

Addiction doesn't just affect one person — it ripples through entire families, straining relationships, stealing futures, and leaving loved ones desperate for answers. In Charlotte, too many people are navigating that crisis alone. Sana Recovery Foundation exists to change that.

As a Charlotte-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Sana provides free resource navigation, licensed clinician-led family support groups, and community education to anyone touched by addiction in the greater Charlotte area. No cost. No barriers. No one turned away. We connect individuals to treatment, walk families through the hardest moments of their lives, and build a recovery ecosystem where providers and community organizations work together to close the gaps.

This November, our team is running the Charlotte Marathon for every person who picked up the phone in crisis. For every parent who didn't know where to turn. For every person in recovery who just needed someone in their corner. We're running 26.2 miles — and we're asking you to fuel every step.

Your donation keeps our services completely free. It funds the support groups, the specialists, the follow-up calls, and the personalized plans that turn desperation into direction. Recovery is possible. Help us prove it.
