2026 TRI for Cure: Chicago Triathlon Team

I’m excited to be participating in the Chicago Triathlon once again to raise awareness and funds for epilepsy. This cause is especially meaningful to my family because my son, Drake, was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2024. Since then, I’ve seen firsthand the strength, resilience, and determination of those living with epilepsy. It’s a journey that has inspired me and reinforced just how important awareness, research, and support truly are. Epilepsy affects millions of people and their families, yet it often doesn’t receive the attention or research funding it deserves. Every dollar raised helps advance research, improve treatments, expand education, and provide critical resources for those impacted by epilepsy. For me, the Chicago Triathlon is about much more than swimming, biking, and running. It’s an opportunity to turn a personal challenge into something that can help others, bring people together, and make a lasting impact.
