Community Unity Leadership Summit 2026

See the work. Meet the people. Connect to what's next.

The Community Unity Leadership Summit, hosted by Eastside Opportunity Ventures, is a free, public gathering that brings together residents, neighborhood leaders, entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, businesses, public officials, and community partners from across Wyandotte County.

The Summit is a chance to step back and see the breadth of work happening across the Eastside — the people building stronger neighborhoods, the partnerships bringing ideas to life, and the leaders creating new opportunities for the future.

Rather than focusing on one issue or one organization, the Summit offers a broad look at the people and efforts shaping our communities.

COMMUNITY. UNITY. LEADERSHIP.

💙 COMMUNITY — Hear from people working to strengthen neighborhoods, expand opportunity, support families, celebrate culture, and improve quality of life.

💙 UNITY — Discover the partnerships, collaborations, and collective efforts connecting people and organizations around shared priorities.

💙 LEADERSHIP — Meet the residents, entrepreneurs, civic leaders, organizations, and emerging voices helping shape what comes next.

The 2026 Summit builds on the momentum of last year's inaugural gathering while creating more space for connection, conversation, and meaningful engagement. The program will feature a curated group of local voices, with additional organizations and initiatives represented through community resource tables.

Event Highlights:

Coffee & pastries starting at 9:00am
Inspiring speakers + community conversations
Free + open to all Wyandotte County residents

A LOOK AT WHAT'S HAPPENING — AND WHAT'S NEXT

The Summit is designed to be more than a single day. It serves as the annual gathering point for a larger year-round conversation, with future quarterly events creating opportunities to go deeper into Community, Unity, and Leadership throughout the year.
