Football Practice Sled

Support Trinity Football Safety, Skill Development, and Growth

The Trinity football program is seeking support to purchase a new five-man football practice sled for our junior varsity and varsity athletes. This essential piece of training equipment will benefit approximately 35 student-athletes, with additional players expected as the season approaches.

A practice sled is a valuable tool for teaching and reinforcing proper blocking technique in a controlled, realistic setting. It allows players — especially linemen — to build strength, improve fundamentals, and rehearse game-like scenarios while reducing the physical wear and tear that can come from repeated full-contact drills.

This investment is especially important for the development of younger JV players as they build the skills needed to advance confidently and safely into varsity competition. Strong tackling and blocking fundamentals are a priority not only for performance, but for player safety as well.

By helping fund this equipment, you are directly supporting the continued development, safety, and success of Trinity football student-athletes. If approved, the sled will be ordered this spring so it is ready for use at the start of summer football practice.
