The Narrative

Behind closed doors, a quiet crisis is fracturing our community. In living rooms, marriages, and workplaces across Glendale, families are suffering under the weight of severe clinical crises—infidelity, betrayal trauma, porn addiction, and sex addiction. These are struggles wrapped in profound shame and isolation, carrying a devastation that tears apart the social fabric of our city, often hidden from view until it is too late.

Restored Life Counseling (RLC) was born out of a crucible of personal pain and profound restoration to answer these hidden crises. We do not believe that mental health struggles are purely biological or purely spiritual; they are a complex interplay requiring holistic, scientific, and pastoral care.

To bring this care to Glendale, we stand on three uncompromised pillars:

Affordable: Breaking down financial walls by getting credentialed with major insurance networks like Aetna and Cigna.
Quality: Championing rigorous, Measurement-Based Care (MBC) and pursuing Outpatient Clinic (OTC) state licensure to meet the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
Distinctively Christian: Honoring the Imago Dei—the image of God—in every individual, aligning with the American Association of Christian Counselors ethical "ceiling," and serving everyone with equal dignity.

But to heal a community, we must build a sustainable, scalable institution. We are currently executing a massive strategic pivot—moving from a localized, founder-dependent "one-man shop" to an institutional, highly scalable regional Mental Health Training Clinic. To make this vision a reality, we need community partners who believe that bringing trauma and addiction out of the shadows makes Glendale stronger, safer, and healthier for everyone.

To ensure the absolute highest standards of stewardship and structural integrity, the Board of Directors of Restored Life Counseling has enacted a binding financial policy. Every unrestricted, general donation given to our general campaign is immediately and systematically split across our three active strategic priorities:

50% directly funds the Bridge Fund, giving our Executive Director the transitional capacity to scale our clinical network and break free of the founder's trap.
30% directly funds the Research Fund, financing peer-reviewed scientific publications of our local findings and establishing our Institutional Review Board (IRB).
20% directly funds the Scholarship Fund, providing immediate, subsidized copays, deductibles, and sliding-scale sessions for low-income families in acute crisis.
