School will be back in session soon in Hampton, GA and with that, kids will be leaving their open houses with loads of excitement and long supply lists.

2026 has been a hard year financially for a lot of folks with soaring gas prices and massive layoffs affecting many families. Every year, we see tons of pop up school supply giveaways, but there are a few problems in Hampton:

1) Most of these giveaways aren't in or around Hampton, so residents with mobility and/or transportation issues may struggle to get to them.

2) With limited resources available for the smaller organizations who organize these things and a lack of collaboration, students in need are often left with gaps in their lists and/or supplies run out before they get there.

This year, the Angry Ants are raising money so we can buy school supplies in bulk to maximize the impact in Hampton, but WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

In the past, organizations like ours have asked for busy people to go out and buy extra supplies in order for us to collect them in one place. This year, we're taking a more streamlined approach and asking for direct monetary donations - we'll do all the shopping!

Where do you come in?

We need more money! 100% of donations made to Angry Ants Community Chest between now & 7/31/2026 for the 2026 Hampton School Supply Rally will be used to purchase school supplies for Hampton students - they will receive these at no charge to them.

Additionally, there are sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses and organizations. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and we will make sure our audiences know that you played an important role in making this happen.

If you are able and feel called, we would be absolutely honored to have your support!
