The Children's Advocacy Center of Independence County is intentionally designed to help child abuse victims and their families find safety, support, and hope during one of the most difficult moments of their lives. Our welcoming, child-friendly environment helps frightened children feel safe enough to share their story.

Our highly trained team works alongside our partners in law enforcement, DCFS, and the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to reduce trauma for children and families throughout the investigation process. By coordinating services in one place, we help prevent children from having to repeat their experiences multiple times while strengthening the path toward healing, protection, and justice.

Every single day, we work to empower, protect, and heal victims of child abuse, and we provide every service completely free of charge to children and families in Independence, Izard, Fulton, Sharp, and Stone counties.

The Harvesting Hope Gala is a celebration of that mission. It's a chance for our community to come together in compassion and generosity to ensure that no child walks this path alone.
