Home is one of those tricky words that means all sorts of things to different people. It may be just some shelter from the wind and cold. It may be a place someone’s lived most of their lives. It might be a house, a town, a city, a whole country, or the planet itself. What we call our home, and how we think about home, takes many different forms and can motivate us in different ways. Join the historians from the City’s Historic Preservation team as we explore the different concepts of home through the stories of the houses on the Historic Homes Tour.
