✨Our greatest legacy isn't what we leave behind. It's what we do for someone else. ✨

Season’s greetings!

The holidays are made of little moments that stay with us. A warm meal. Laughter around the table. A child’s face lighting up with joy! This season, together we can help create those moments for families in need and bring a little extra hope and joy to our neighbors.

One family. One table. One joyful moment at a time.

So many of you have been with Families Helping Families from the very beginning. Over the last 19 years, you collected food, filled baskets, made deliveries, brought friends, and then came back the next year and did it all over again. We're helping create moments. A full table. A family gathered together. A little less worry and a little more hope.

I have come to believe that we may never fully know how far one small act of kindness can travel. Maybe that is part of the blessing. We simply give what we can, care for the person in front of us, and trust that it matters.

I count each of you among the many blessings this journey has given the community. And I am so grateful that, 19 years later, we are still doing this together.

A Season of Holiday Magic...
Together with YOU!

Oh, what wonderful holiday giving events we have planned!

Thanks to the incredible kindness of our community, we’re preparing three very special celebrations filled with delicious food, festive surprises, and those unforgettable little moments that make the holidays sparkle. And we have a few extra surprises up our sleeves this year!

Thanksgiving Food Drive - November 1st - 22nd

Filling tables, warming hearts, and making Thanksgiving a little more wonderful!

We are packing 500 beautiful holiday totes to the brim with ingredients for delicious meals, breakfast favorites, sweet treats, thoughtful little surprises, and a grocery gift card to give families a little breathing room and the freedom to choose the foods and traditions that make Thanksgiving feel like their own.

The totes will be distributed to local families through our Boys & Girls Clubs and Jubilee REACH partners.

And of course, every tote will be lovingly finished with a gorgeous festive ribbon! Because there’s something so special about receiving a gift prepared with compassion, ready to bring warmth, happiness, and wonderful memories to the family table.

Spread Joy Luncheon - November 24th

A special Thanksgiving celebration created to honor and thank the incredible doctors, nurses, staff, and families of Seattle Children’s Hospital, whose greatest superpowers are their compassion, incredible hearts, and the life-changing care they give every single day.

While so many are gathering with loved ones for the holidays, these everyday superheroes are spending their days bringing hope, healing, and comfort to families who need them most.

With delicious food, favorite coffees, delightful sweet treats, and a few special surprises, we’re planning a heartfelt celebration to thank these remarkable people, while bringing an extra helping of warmth, and holiday joy to the parents spending this special season by their children’s side.

The Kringle Jingle - December 13th

Bringing the wonder of the holidays to the incredible families at Ronald McDonald House! 🎄

Oh, the fun we have planned! We’re bringing a truly enchanting holiday celebration right to these wonderful family's doorsteps.

Thank you, Bellevue High School and the ASB, for hosting the most fun Teddy Bear Toss and toy drive at your fall assembly and collecting toys for this event!

The day will be filled with delicious food, festive treats, wonderful gifts, and surprises! More than anything, we hope to surround these families with joy, happiness, and holiday cheer, creating memories to hold in their hearts for years to come. ❤️

Join us for this season of giving this is going to be, all because of wonderful people like you!

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving and the happiest of holiday seasons!
