Every holiday season, the heart of Liberty shines brightest.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of neighbors like you, the 2025 Liberty Community Christmas Tree (LCCT) program celebrated its most successful fundraising year yet. Together, we stepped up to provide food, essential items, and holiday gifts for 445 families—including 1,145 children and 190 adult households—right here in our school district.

But LCCT is about so much more than just numbers on a page. It is about easing a heavy burden for a parent going through a tough time, ensuring a child experiences the magic of Christmas morning, and reminding our neighbors that they are never alone.

Real Impact, Real Stories

When you give to the Liberty Community Christmas Tree, your gift immediately transforms into comfort and relief. Here is what last year's recipients and volunteers shared about the impact of your generosity:

"We are usually the ones providing care, not receiving it..." "My husband and I are both nurses and we have 5 children... I was recently terminated from a job right before Thanksgiving. This season has been a challenge and we are grateful to have received such generous gifts. It’s humbling truthfully, but we are beyond grateful for such a beautiful outpouring of love and support." — 2025 LCCT Recipient Family

"A light in the middle of a bad time..." "Our daughter fell super ill this year with a chronic illness... as a result, I had to cut my work time down to almost nothing. Thank you for allowing me to still give my daughter the Christmas she deserves. You will always have a place in our hearts." — 2025 LCCT Recipient Family

"She made me feel like family." "Talking with the shopper was a pleasant experience. She did not make me feel like I was a burden, more like I was family. Thank you so much to this program for blessing so many families." — 2025 LCCT Recipient Family

Why We Need You in 2026

For families facing unexpected medical crises, job losses, or the strain of rising costs, the holidays can bring immense stress instead of joy. The Liberty Community Christmas Tree program relies entirely on the kindness of local businesses, civic groups, volunteers, and individuals to meet this significant need every single year.

As we look toward Christmas 2026, our goal is to ensure that no family in the Liberty School District is left behind.

Every dollar stays local. Your 100% tax-deductible donation directly funds grocery gift cards, clothing, and toys for families, seniors, and homebound residents in our immediate community.
