Second Annual Rivalry Relay

I was pulled to this event via a good veteran friend and decided to support it for various reasons. It’s an opportunity to support our troops alongside people who have served, push myself through something hard, and be part of a pretty incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience.

But a big part of my “why” is my family. I want my kids to grow up seeing that the most worthwhile things in life aren’t always the easiest. Sometimes you sign up for something hard, put yourself through a little discomfort, and do it for a purpose bigger than yourself.

I’m excited to take on the challenge, run a bunch of miles, and have a great time doing it. I hope we beat the hell out of the T-sips, but more importantly, I hope we raise a pile of money for the Blue Skies Foundation and the families they support.
