About Row For Recovery:

Row for Recovery Month is an annual awareness campaign created by Quest to elevate the voices of people in recovery.

Storytellers connect with Quest on Campus students through daily paddleboarding.

Before heading out on the water, the day's storyteller shares their testimony, opens up for group discussion, and allows for questions to provide students with the inspiration and insight to keep moving forward when life's currents get tough, One Day at a Time.

These paddleboard sessions are free and open to the community.

Row for Recovery is the epitome of mental fitness, demonstrating that a community committed to breaking the stigma around mental health can inspire others to reach out for help before it's too late.

Daily Community Paddle:

Each evening at 6:00 PM, participants gather at The Citadel's Swain Boating Center for a free community paddleboarding and group speaker.

Before heading out on the water, a guest speaker shares their personal story of recovery with the group. These powerful conversations encourage connection, reduce stigma, and remind participants that they are never alone.

To extend the impact beyond each event, we also interview each speaker and share their story through Quest's social media channels, helping inspire others, raise awareness, and reach thousands more throughout Recovery Month.
