Students are leading the movement to end distracted driving at Ohio State University

Every year, more than 40,000 people die in crashes in the United States.
Many of those tragedies are preventable.

At the University of Dayton, students are stepping up to change that.

Through Safe Driving Week, we’re raising awareness across campus and asking students to take a simple but powerful step:

Pledge not to drive distracted.

Your support makes this possible.

Your gift helps bring this program to campus and reach students where decisions are made every day.

Every Safe Driving Week campaign takes more than just good intentions.

It requires student leadership, outreach materials, coordination, and ongoing support to reach students effectively and create real change on campus.

Your support helps:

Research shows that signing a pledge can change behavior by up to 47% more than other incentives.

That’s real, measurable impact—and it starts with one conversation.

Give at a level that’s meaningful to you. Every gift helps move this work forward.

Some supporters choose to make a larger gift to help expand this effort even further.

We all take risks when we get in a car.
This campaign is about changing that.

Students are leading the way.
With your support, we can make a real impact—right here at Dayton.
