I’m incredibly grateful to be running with Friends of Firefighters (FoF), an organization that provides independent, confidential, and free mental health counseling and wellness services to active and retired FDNY firefighters and their families.

Choosing to run for Friends of Firefighters was personal.
My dad has proudly served with the Pawtucket, Rhode Island Fire Department for the past 20 years. Over those two decades, I’ve watched him rise through the ranks—from Private to Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, and now Acting Deputy Chief.
Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the dedication, sacrifice, leadership, and camaraderie that define the fire service. Firefighters and their families give so much of themselves in service to others, often carrying burdens that aren’t always visible.
That’s why supporting Friends of Firefighters means so much to me. Their work ensures that the brave men and women who spend their lives taking care of our NYC community have access to the mental health and wellness resources they deserve.
Running the NYC Marathon has been an adult dream of mine, and I’m honored to make every mile count for a cause that is so close to my heart.
