On August 30th, Team Conexion Latina will Walk or Run over the Newport Bridge for the third time as we continue to build community, strength and power.

Conexion Latina supports Latino families on Aquidneck Island to navigate systems, advocate for equitable access and build community and leadership, so that every Latino can live with pride, health, and opportunity.

As a beneficiary of the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Foundation, we are excited to be participating in the Citizen's Pell Bridge Run | 2026 ! 100% of all net proceeds from the event go to local non-profits like Conexion Latina.

The fifteenth annual Citizens Pell Bridge Run will be held on Sunday, August 30th. Starting in Jamestown and finishing in downtown Newport, this point-to-point event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and speeds! The 4-mile road race and walk is the only day of the year pedestrians are permitted to cross the famous Newport Pell Bridge. Gather your friends and family for a day of fun, fitness and stunning views!

Register early for the best pricing and shuttle assignments! The proceeds from your registration go to support the beneficiaries of the run (that's us!). The more people that register, the more our local non-profits will receive.

After you register, email us with your contact info and teeshirt size, and we will be in touch about meeting the team. We will also send you a link to this fundraising page so you can share it with friends and family so they can sponsor you and support Conexion Latina!

If you have no desire to run over a bridge at 7 in the morning, we get it! But you can still help.
