The San Diego Police Officers Association hosts a dinner for all SDPOA members who give up time with their families on Thanksgiving in order to protect our communities.

Historically, and with staffing permitting, the Chief’s office has approved flexibility in Code Seven (dinner break) policies to allow officers from throughout the City to come to the POA office for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Members are encouraged to bring their immediate families to join them for a traditional Thanksgiving feast of turkey and trimmings. This event gives on-duty officers a chance to enjoy the holiday and spend time with their peers and family members.

Expected attendance: 500 officers and family members throughout the day.
