Every day, YWCA Cortland serves as a lifeline for women, children, and families in Cortland County and its surrounding areas.

Today, our essential services are in jeopardy due to the continued unpredictability of the federal funding landscape.

Your support of the 2026 Walk the Walk will sustain YWCA’s ability to provide services to those in our community who need it most, including:

Clients needing comprehensive support services offered free of charge by the Aid to Victims of Violence Program, which empowers survivors to live lives free of abuse.
Children participating in the free Mentoring Program services that build self-confidence and resiliency skills that enable them to make smart life choices.
Parents who send their kids to our Child Care Program so they can go to work secure in the knowledge they are being cared for in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing atmosphere.
Seniors on fixed incomes who exercise in our warm water pool to stay active, mobile, healthy, and socially engaged.
