2026 Water Drive for Homeless Heat Relief

💧 Early Heat. Urgent Need. Life‑Saving Water. 💧

Arizona’s extreme heat is arriving earlier than ever. In February and March 2026, record‑breaking temperatures were already impacting our unsheltered neighbors, signaling another dangerous summer ahead. In 2025, Maricopa County confirmed 427 heat‑related deaths, with nearly half involving people experiencing homelessness. Water isn’t a convenience — it’s survival. That’s why Arizona’s Family to the Homeless (AZFH) must begin summer heat relief efforts early this year.

Because of supporters like you, in 2025, 1,568 unsheltered neighbors received life‑saving hydration and protection. Your donations helped keep hydration stations stocked, distribute 800 cooling towels and sunscreen, and provide 250 transit passes to help individuals reach cooling centers and safe spaces.
