Once a year, friends from across the Episcopal Church and around the Bay Area gather at St. Dorothy’s Rest for Woods to Waves—a scenic hike from the redwoods to the ocean, and a fundraiser with a mission that matters deeply. Together, we raise money so children with organ transplants can attend summer camp at no cost to their families.

For kids who spend so much of their young lives in hospitals and recovery, a week at camp offers something priceless: friendship, freedom, and the simple joy of being a child.

Your generosity helps change that. Through our partnership with Stanford Children’s Hospital, St. Dorothy’s provides a safe, medically supported week of camp where these children can laugh, explore, and simply be kids again. The hospital refers campers and provides the nursing team that cares for them throughout the week, ensuring every child can participate fully and safely.
