What to expect at the 2026 FSL Community Crops Seed Share:

We welcome everyone who wants to connect and share resources! While these events thrive when everyone contributes an old packet or saved seed, seeds will be provided by Community Crops, and you do not need to bring seeds in order to take some for your garden. Small envelopes will be provided, so please take only what you will use.

In addition to seeds, we will host an education table, and all Community Crops staff will be on site to share knowledge. Prairie Pines Partners and Wachiska Audobon Society will be providing a pinecone bird feeder activity to share seeds with our bird friends too!

What seeds can I bring?

Fruit, vegetable, flower and native perennial seeds.
Saved seed from open-pollinated/heirloom varietals
Purchased seed, including hybrids
Locally saved seed is encouraged!

Sharing the stories behind seeds spreads knowledge & preserves food culture!
